Farewell the Catastrophe Works (cast of two women) is a comedy set in Las Vegas.  It is the story of a deranged mother and an estranged daughter who seek moral high ground in a desperate queen-of-the-hill battle,  It was was first produced at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on October 7, 1990.

Farewell the Catastrophe Works, by Red Shuttleworth, was first published in Alaska Quarterly Review (Vol. 11  No. 3&4,  Spring & Summer 1993).  Those who are interested in reading this play can hunt down that issue of AQR.
